Established in the Late 1980’s. Tibet Guest House is Ideal for Travelers and Trekkers with very high service standards you will be quite surprised to discover that we have practically all the facilities and comfort to meet the expectations of even the most discerning. Tibet Guest House is naturally the ideal place to stay during your visit to Nepal. We have been here even before tourism set foot on Thamel. We have 91 well-appointed spacious rooms in three separate building, from rooftop you can enjoy unobstructed views of a major part of Kathmandu city, the surrounding hills as well as the majestic mountains to the north while you wine and dine in splendor.

One of our major strengths, ever since we started over 15 years ago, lies in our ability to constantly innovate and adapt in keeping with the changing needs of the modern-day traveler.

With the recent addition of a new wing, the hotel now has 55 rooms-all equally clean and comfortable. All the bathrooms have brand new fittings. The lounge area has also been widened so that it is now more spacious.

RESTAURANT
The in-house restaurant, which serves delectable Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian, Chinese and continental cuisine, has been extended and refurbished and a bar installed. To make access into the restaurant easier, a new entrance has been opened up from the road in addition to the existing one that leads from the lounge. This entrance is guarded by two imposing pillars carrying typical Tibetan designs and motifs and lends a pleasant flavour to the building.

Our roof-top garden has been meticulously redesigned for your comfort and pleasure. From here you can enjoy unobstructed views of a major part of Katmandu City, the surrounding hills as well as the majestic mountains to the north while you wine and dine in splendour. The back garden has also been extended and a shade added overhead to make it more attractive and comfortable. This is the place to unwind after a hectic day of sightseeing of shopping as well as a great venue for parties and receptions. There is ample car-parking space too.
